EDDIE PORTILLO

Bio

Los Angeles Native Eddie Portillo is a House DJ & Founder of Madhouse DJ’s LA - a collective and community of the most promising House DJ’s in California.

He has been greatly inspired by his Salvadorian and Spanish roots as well as by artists as diverse as Dennis Cruz and Sunnery James.

Since his debut at Miami Music Week in March of 2016, Eddie has been traveling globally to DJ and continue helping his collective to grow. 

In 2017 Eddie put together a show for Miami Music Week titled BTG - Miami Bridge The Gap. 

In collaboration with MOVE Las Vegas, the entire Madhouse roster was showcased at Oceans Ten in 2018. The same year saw the debut of this creator in Amsterdam for ADE and in Brazil. 

His experience putting together these shows across the country assisted in his partnership with 6AM Group in producing underground warehouse events. 

Pre Covid 2020, Eddie was a regularly showcased talent at Exchange LA and Academy LA, both spearheaded by Insomniac, one of the most preeminent dance-music event companies in the world.

Fast forward to 2022 and Eddie is a married father of 2 - Xyla and Xolani. The knowledge and expertise he has gained throughout the years has resulted in Eddie Portillo being the music coordinator for Pattern Bar in Downtown Los Angeles. 

Madhouse DJ’s LA now has 10 employees who have eagerly joined the community and Eddie Portillo is currently joining the Bullitt Agency as Operations Coordinator, in hopes of one day becoming a booking agent with them.
